RAMSBOTTOM residents are invited to take advantage of a free, low energy light bulb in celebration of a new Energy Show House.
The house in Parsonage Street, Bury, is packed with information, ideas and examples of ways to make the home warmer and reduce the amount of energy used to help save money.
Bury Metro's Executive Member for the environment, Coun Stella Smith, said: "Although the Energy Show House is in Bury, it is a facility that is open for free to anyone in the borough, no matter where they live. The ideas and innovations which have been brought together can be applied to any home, saving energy and money. Visitors can get advice on grants, schemes and special offers, all of which can help finance energy efficiency measures in the home."
