I WOULD like to congratulate Brian Todd (Letters, January 17) for his comments regarding religion in schools. It would, however, seem the norm today that the so-called integration of our society is, in actual fact, segregation.
What next? Muslim women's swimming? An Asian quarter? Ethnic recruitment? Music of black origin awards?
Substitute any of the four key words above with perhaps Christian, British, non-ethnic and, dare I say it, white and all that remains now for me is to wait for the so-called politically correct religious leaders (Christian and Muslim), spotty-faced protesters and the like to reward my democratic right to free speech with the Nazi of the Year award.
We are all, of course, entitled to our opinions, aren't we? Isn't that what happened in Mill Hill? Isn't that what is going to happen all over our proud country at the ballot boxes very shortly?
COUN ROBIN EVANS (British National Party), Blackburn with Darwen Council.
