AN appeal has gone out to trace the owners of the second dog to be abandoned outside the Home.
Manchester Dogs' Home staff were alerted when a white car came hurtling down Moss Brook Road, turned round, threw Patch out of the car and sped off up Moss Brook Road.
Dogs' Home staff have named the abandoned dog "Patch". He is a White and Brindle cross Staffordshire Bullterrier approximately five years old.
Patch is a friendly animal. He has been castrated and his tail has been docked. He has sores on his right-hand back leg.
The Dogs' Home would like anyone who recognises this dog, or who knows of any dog resembling him that has gone missing lately, to contact the Manchester Dogs' Home on Tel. 0161 205 2874.
