YOUR editorial comment regarding Councillor Kate Hollern (LET, January 31) was spot on.
She and her colleagues on Blackburn with Darwen Council's Executive would take us back to the Dark Ages.
All debate and dissension would be stifled were it not for the Lancashire Evening Telegraph and its correspondents.
Why doesn't the good councillor use some of her power and influence on the council and go and talk to Bank Top 'champion' Sam Spence and maybe help him with some of his complaints (Letters, January 28?)
