SOME readers, rightly so, questioned British and American motives in threatening Iraq.
I often wonder about British motives in starting World War Two -- oil wasn't a consideration and there was no material gain in saving an innocent world from Fascism and its death camps.
Given Britain's war mongering and poor humanitarian record, compared to Iraq's peaceful co-existence with her neighbours and her ethnic minorities, I often wonder why so many people want to come and live in this cold, wet crime and debt-ridden country when there is warm, sunny Iraq waiting with open arms to give them a warm welcome.
Perhaps some reader could enlighten me.
