MANCHESTER Dogs' Home is looking for a loving home for one of its long-stay dogs, Tara, a tan and white cross Staffordshire Bullterrier bitch.
Tara was admitted to the Home on the 23rd October 2002 after being picked up by the Bury Dog Warden. She is approximately eight years old and was underweight when she was admitted to the Home.
Tara has already been microchipped and her past owners were notified when she was admitted to the Home, unfortunately they did not respond and she has not been claimed which is surprising as Tara is a very friendly dog.
Tara will obey basic commands and would love a new home as she has now been in the Home for over three months and is becoming depressed. Anyone wishing to rehome Tara would need to produce a vet's letter to show that they have had a dog before and that they are a responsible owner.
If you can offer Tara a home, please visit Manchester Dogs' Home. The kennels are open seven days a week and are situated at Crofter's House, Moss Brook Road, Harpurhey, Manchester M9 5PG. Tel. 0161 205 2874.
The Manchester Dogs' Home relies on public donations to carry on its vital work of caring for and rehoming lost and abandoned dogs, so if you cannot rehome a dog, please help us to continue to care for them by sending a donation.
