MEMBERS of Edgworth Cricket Club have applied to North Turton Parish Council for money to refurbish the changing rooms.
Councillors received the application last month but have deferred their decision to find out more information about the application.
The current changing rooms, opposite the club's pavillion, can accomodate men at the club but has no female changing area.
Geoff Hughes, council clerk, said: "The members want to turn it into a cricket and recreation club because there are tennis courts there and other sports such as rounders and hockey are played there.
"They want to upgrade the changing rooms and get women's facilities in there too."
