A CHARITY auction at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Clayton-le-Moors, raised £3,000 for Cancer Research.
The event was organised by Great Harwood Windows, of Eden Street, Blackburn, whose joint managing directors, Howard Jones and James Hindle, have both lost family members to the disease.
Among the lots were footballs signed by Blackburn Rovers, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Rochdale, a flying lesson, a full health scan at Beardwood Hospital and a dressing gown worn by Coronation Street barmaid Gina.
The auction was conducted by Burn FM DJ Paul Booth.
