THE NORTH Bury Junior Football League, which has a number of teams in the Bolton, Horwich, and Wigan area, is looking to provide even more football next season, to include girls as well as boys.
The league, which plays on Saturday mornings, currently has U7s to U14s age groups.
It has received full support from Manchester County FA and with Robin Phillip, the new Football Development Officer for Bury Metro keen to establish girl's football in the area, and the plan is for a girl's section to be up and running in September. Application forms are already in the hands of club secretaries for next season and further details of the League, and the proposed girl's section can be obtained from secretary Paul Gresty on 0161 773 5917.
