TURKISH World Cup star Tugay was allegedly involved in an amazing half-time bust-up with David Thompson during Rovers' recent FA Cup clash at Sunderland.
The former Rangers star reacted angrily to criticism from Thompson in the dressing room at half-time and subsequently stripped off, refusing to go out for the second half.
Eventually, manager Graeme Souness had to intervene and the Rovers boss managed to talk the 32-year-old out of going on strike.
Souness today declined to comment but the incident had a disruptive influence on the dressing room and Rovers later crashed out of the competition on penalties.
