ST JOHN'S Mothers' Union will meet tonight at 7.15pm in Church House. Mrs Olive Western will be speaker and there will be a 'wave of prayer'.

CHURCH House will be closed from Friday, February 14, for three weeks for installation of a new floor.

MOUNT Zion's Friday Club is open to all children of primary school age. The sessions, from 6.30 to 7.30pm, include games, craft, music, stories and other fun things.

ST JOHN'S Christingle Service in December last year raised £100 for the Children's Society. A further £47 has also been raised for church funds from quiz sheets bought by parishioners recently. There will be another, new quiz available shortly. By filling Smarties tubes with coins church members have raised £1,294 to date.

THERE will be live entertainment at the Gordon Lennox again on Sunday, February 23, starting at 4pm, when four-piece rock/pop band Raid will perform.

AT their February meeting, members of CRaCA agreed to donate £200 to Cliviger Brownies to help with the running of the pack. CRaCA are also hoping to stage a number of events over the coming months to raise funds to assist other local organisations and groups.

THE rooms above Cliviger Hair Studio in Park Road have been transformed into a beauty salon, Enhance, which will be opening soon BEauty salonand will offer all the usual treatments etc.
