A LANDLADY of a Fence pub is giving an unusual helping hand to couples looking for love on Valentine's night.
Kate Knowles, of the Ye Old Sparrowhawk, on Wheatley Lane Road, will distribute bay leaves to customers up to February 14 to put under their pillows.
The unusual move apparently originates from a traditional folklore that guarantees a fulfilling relationship with the partner of your dreams.
