A CHARITY dinner to help terminally ill children will be held at the Park Gate Inn, Longsight Road, Copster Green, on Wednesday, February 26, at 8pm.
The night raises money for Francis House children's hospice in Manchester and will feature guest speaker Alan Kennedy, a former Liverpool and England international footballer.
Alan will be accompanied at the event, which includes the four-course dinner, by comedian Jed Stone. Tickets cost £35. For details telephone landlord Peter Shaw on 01254 248144.
