A 36-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with death by dangerous driving after an 18-year-old youth was killed in a car crash in Ramsbottom.
Danny McLeod, 36, was due to appear before magistrates in Bury today.
Police said the victim, who has not been named, was a passenger in a Peugeot 306 travelling along Whalley Road, Shuttleworth, from Bury.
Officers investigating the incident said the vehicle collided with a brick wall, before hitting a lamp-post.
The victim was taken to Fairfield Hospital, Bury, where he was pronounced dead.
Three other passengers suffered minor injuries.
