ROVERS' performance against Aston Villa was one of the worst since the dark days of Brian Kidd.

Like many Rovers fans, I am mystified at the slump in form, or I have just been kidding myself this season? Apart from one or two notable exceptions, Rovers have flattered to deceive.

Up front we are toothless and midfield we have too many players who go missing once a game needs chasing.

I rate Graeme Souness, but sadly his players are letting him down. Next season, based on this form, we will be relegation candidates.
