FINALLY, Blackburn with Darwen Council has agreed the new service area on the M65 should be named after the town which it is in (LET, February 4).
However, after the viewing of Christmas trees and lap dancing clubs, wasting the people's money on needless trips, I would remind them that our town's name is spelled 'Darwen.'
There you go -- no need to go to the sign manufacturers now for an expensive day trip out to see if they spell it correctly.
