WHEN they have finished with the campaign to change the name of the new M65 services (What about 'East Lancs Services?'), could there be a campaign to get the lights turned on on the slip road there?
Those blocks just as your turn left are very nice, but no good unlit. If the council has silly money to spend on a name change, do they not think safety should come first?
For if anyone crashes into the concrete and gets injured it will not make much difference the name of the services.
And as the daily papers put Blackburn in north and/or west Lancashire, if you do not know where Darwen is it does not make the slightest difference what it is called.
