GERMAN starlet Sergio Peter made an immediate impact at Brockhall last weekend by scoring the winner on his Under 17 debut.
"He's a player we've had here for a while but we haven't been able to play him due to problems with international clearance," said Academy Director, Bobby Downes.
"He's someone we think highly of but it's going to take him a few weeks to adjust to the pace of our game," said Academy Director, Bobby Downes.
Meanwhile, the Under 19s' hopes of finishing top of their Academy league suffered a set-back at the hands of Liverpool.
Rovers found themselves 2-0 down as the Merseysiders started strongly but an Alan Morgan goal then triggered a second half fight-back.
But the Reds then killed the game off when they pinched a third and decisive goal on the break late on.
Academy defender Jon Fitzgerald has been called up by the Republic of Ireland for a friendly with Slovakia in the run-up to the Under 20 World Cup.
