YOUNG engineers from Lancaster & Morecambe College are ready to go out into the big, wide world of work - if firms can take them on.
Youngsters have completed the second level of a performance engineering course after two full years of training and are preparing to join employers from large national firms to local garages.
The firms will be receiving engineers with proven competence ready to join them as modern apprentices - available for full time work for six months and then on day-release for a further three years.
Tutor Paul Billington says: "The group have all completed the full nine units and are eligible to work as modern apprentices.
"They have all worked hard and have acquired the practical skills required for industry. I would recommend them to any employer. '
