A 13-YEAR-OLD has been indecently assaulted in public toilets in Radcliffe.
The teenager walked into the toilets in Market Place, Short Street, on Monday at about 10.30am and, as he headed towards the end cubicle, he was grabbed from behind.
The offender then pushed the boy into the next cubicle where he indecently assaulted him.
PC Tracey Quinn, of Whitefield police, said: "The boy was left extremely shaken by what happened. The toilets are situated next to the market and the incident occurred during a busy period of the day.
"I believe someone must have seen this man entering or leaving the toilets, or maybe other people using those toilets around that time witnessed him acting suspiciously."
The offender is described as a white man, approximately 40 years old, between 5ft 5ins and 5ft 7ins tall and of stocky build.
He had a bald or shaved head and was wearing grey trousers and what has been described as a beige, knee-length fur coat.
Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact them on 0161 872 5050, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
