REPRESENTATIVES from the Lancashire Cricket League joined family and friends today at the funeral of Ken Smalley, the league's former treasurer.
Ken died in Burnley General Hospital last Friday after losing his fight against cancer. He was aged 70.
Ken, formerly of Rossendale Road, Burnley, leaves behind wife Rita, 69, two children Susan, 45, and David, 40, and four grandchildren.
A life-long cricket fan, Ken was appointed to the position in 1998 after being heavily involved with Lowerhouse cricket club for many years.
The service was at Burnley Crematorium.
