THE Lancashire Food Festival has been extended for 2003 to two days.
Last year more than 4,000 people flocked to Accrington Town Hall to sample award-winning pies, creamy Lancashire cheeses and fresh dairy ice-cream.
This year the annual event will be held on Thursday March 6 and Friday March 7.
Both days will include a variety of food stalls offering samples and goods to purchase.
On the Friday there will also be a series of cookery demonstrations using foodstuffs on offer at the festival and on Accrington market.
Entry to the festival is 50p for adults and free for children under 16.
Entry to the demonstrations is free but places must be reserved in advance from the information centre at the Town Hall.
