AS a new recruit to doggie walking along the Preston junction nature reserve path from Lostock Hall to Preston, I am appalled at the habits of my fellow dog owners.

Dutifully they pick up their 'doggie's poo' with a carrier bag and then hang it from the nearest tree.

Or they wait until they think nobody is looking and empty it back out again. They also let their galloping hounds off the lead which results in children and cyclists being hurled through mid air. The owners snarl at anybody who dares to comment on their negligent behaviour.

So, I've renamed the Preston junction, Poo Junction, and wish all those well that get right up it!
