I WISH I could find more food bargains like the one I picked up this week.
I opted for two 99p tubs of custard reduced to 29p each in my supermarket's bargain area.
That's a fair saving in itself, but when I checked my till receipt, something I always do after discovering a £10 Christmas token had been slipped on to one, I discovered that the custard was a BOGOF offer.
Not only did I get the two tubs for 58p, but they gave me a 99p refund as well. That means the items were free and I was given 41p to take them away. I should have gone round again!
