LEE Cryer may return to the Clitheroe side for the first time in four weeks when they face Curzon Ashton at home in NWCL Division One tomorrow.
The 22-goal striker has been out of action with an ankle injury since the 1-0 win at Ware in the FA Vase last month.
And in that time, the Blues have won one and lost one in the league and have been knocked out of both the Marsden Trophy and the Vase.
"It was a disappointing display last week against Devizes in the Vase because we would have expected to beat a team like that," said the 31-year-old. "And it is always frustrating to watch."
The Blues have managed to stay in one competition in Cryer's absence. They are through to the Worthington Trophy semi-finals, where they will meet Padiham, with a final appearance at Gigg Lane up for grabs.
They are now fifth in the table, 17 points behind leaders Prescot with three games in hand.
"The Worthington Trophy will be something to look forward to and it would be great to play at Gigg Lane," said Cryer.
"But we have our work cut out for us now in terms of winning the league."
