MEMBERS of the Barlow Institute are sending out a big thank-you to an Edgworth company that fitted their stage lights for free.
North Turton Parish Council agreed to pay £3,000 for the lighting which was fitted free by the Concert Lighting group.
Edgworth Councillor Dave Smith, said: "The managing director, who lives in the village, wanted to do something positive for the community and we are very grateful.
"The institute hasn't had stage lighting in its history and now we have it in time for our March pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk."
The main hall will soon be fitted with a sound system, including a loop system to aid the hard of hearing.
Tickets for the pantomime cost £5 and £3 for concessions.
