HUNDRERDS of people from East Lancashire joined up to 500,000 protesters in a London march against war in Iraq today.
About 10 coach loads of demonstrators -- many of them members of CND -- from across the area left Burnley and Blackburn for the capital this morning.
The march was being billed as the UK's largest peace protest.
Police put the numbers expected at 500,000 while organisers were hinting there might be up to a million people taking part.
