THE ladies of Blackburn's Leamington Road Baptist church have notched up a century of meeting together.
They are celebrating 100 years of their Ladies' Night group, previously known as the Girls' Guild, during the week of February 26 to March 5 and invite all ladies to their events.
The birthday celebrations include a Members' Night on Wednesday, February 26 at 7.30pm looking at past years as The Guild with memories and photographs, and launching a 'Count Your Blessings' calendar.
A Worship in Church conducted by Ladies' Night members will be held on Sunday, March 2 at 10.30am when the preacher will be Mrs Sue Lord, licensed reader from St Silas's church.
The week culminates in a celebration party night with The Waddington Entertainers on Wednesday, March 5 at 7pm followed by a supper, and bookings can be taken on 01254 698649.
