A WOMAN was treated for shock after an armed robbery at a Radcliffe post office.
A man brandishing a silver handgun went into Black Lane post office in Ainsworth Road just before 11am on Tuesday and threatened staff.
He pointed the weapon at the postmaster and ordered him to empty the money into a bag before escaping. A woman member of staff was treated for shock by paramedics.
The robber was white, 6ft and was wearing a red jacket. Police want anyone who saw the incident or saw anything suspicious to call Whitefield CID on 0161 856 8240.
