DARWEN police are sending out another warning to residents to keep their cars secure.
Three cars were stolen from the Edgworth area last week because drivers had started their cars and left running them while they defrosted.
Another car was stolen early Monday morning from Rudyard Drive.
Sgt Anne Scott said: "On this occasion the keys were left in the door and the driver had gone back in the house to get the children ready for school. They came back out and the car was gone.
"We want people to be more aware that opportunists are around and if they see keys lying around, they won't think twice."
