BROWNIES learnt the secret of Morse code and the reasons behind the phonetic alphabet when they gained their 'communications' badge.
Volunteers from Rossendale Amateur Radio Society gave up their Saturday afternoon to learn the youngsters from the 12th Rossendale St James the Less group how to communicate with the world. Christine Corpse, Brownie Guider, said: "The girls really enjoyed themselves."
