POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was robbed of a valuable skateboard.
The 16-year-old was walking along Brunshaw Road, Burnley, about 8.55pm on Tuesday when he was approached by five youngsters.
One walked up to the victim, threatened him and snatched the skateboard before running off.
The board is described as white and gold with distinctive pale blue wheels and graffiti and stickers. It also had a picture of a pterodactyl on the underside and was valued at around £130.
The robber was described as white, aged 16-18, 5ft 8-5ft 9ins, slim with a square face and black stubble and brown eyes. He was wearing blue tracksuit trousers, a beige and blue striped top and a blue baseball cap.
Det Sgt Steve Mounsey, of Burnley Police, said: "This was a nasty crime and we are appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident."
