IT'S Chelsea this weekend and I really hope we can flower in the capital!
Stamford Bridge is definitely one of the tougher places to go in the Premiership but we shouldn't be going there with anything to fear.
Claudio Ranieri had his critics when he first came in but he's made them eat their words by turning the Blues into a genuine force in the top-flight.
It might be too late for them to make a charge this season, but if he can keep this current squad together then they could have the launchpad for a serious tilt at the title in the next couple of years.
They're a good side with great movement who can call on some top class players.
Which manager wouldn't want players like Gianfranco Zola, Marcel Desailly, William Gallas and Eidur Gudjohnsen in their squad?
But the one player who doesn't get as much credit as he perhaps deserves is my old mate John Terry.
I know I've spoken about him in this column before but I really believe he's going to be an England international for years to come.
He has the ability to be as good as he wants to be and the only reason he hasn't had a chance already at that level probably has something to do with the recent court case he was involved in.
However, Sven Goran Eriksson has shown he doesn't allow that to colour his judgement of a player, as he has proved by calling up Jonathan Woodgate and Lee Bowyer. So I'm sure it won't be long before we see John in the international fold, just as long as he maintains the kind of form he's been in this season.
I just hope he has a bit of a nightmare against us on Saturday because a win down there would act as a real tonic for us.
Last season, Henning Berg and Craig Short were magnificent in the corresponding fixture when we came away with a hard-earned point following a 0-0 draw. And a similar result this weekend would probably suit us again.
I hope to be in contention for a return.
I was disappointed to see our reserve game against Aston Villa called off in midweek but I've been working hard in training over the last few weeks.
So if I get the call from the manager, then I'm confident I'm fit enough to do a good job.
