A LAW graduate who fell into the world of drugs admitted to using her mother's credit card to steal money and goods.
Sarah Jane Hayhurst, aged 34, formerly of Castle Hill Road, Bury, was before magistrates at Rochdale for sentencing, in respect of 17 charges of obtaining money or goods by deception and a further charge of theft. The case had been adjourned for pre-sentence reports.
Magistrates decided to make Hayhurst, now of Rochdale, subject to a 160 hour community punishment order and she was also ordered to pay compensation of £350. Court costs were waived.
