A PLUCKY Unsworth woman sent two thugs packing when they attempted to hi-jack her car.
Rather than giving in and handing them the keys to her BMW, she fought off the men who fled empty handed.
They confronted the 42-year-old woman seconds after she had parked the car in the driveway of her home in Church Meadow.
The would-be robbers demanded her keys and took hold of her arms. But she bravely fought them off and the men escaped in a J-registration silver Rover Two Series car.
The incident happened around 9.55pm on Wednesday (Feb 19). One of the offenders is described as being 5ft 9in, of slim build with broad shoulders, and wore a dark sweatshirt with a hood and dark trousers. His accomplice wore dark clothes and a balaclava. Police investigations are continuing.
