BLACKBURN band Dustfly have teamed with some old friends and a well-known producer for a new EP.
And having been together for almost two years, the band - Doug Livesey, Marcus Chadwick, Pete Bentley, Tony Bentley and Si Templeman - relocated to the capital for recording.
Teaming-up with former Blackburn band Big Fluff - now called Rises - the band put down their new material in studios belonging to new indie label, Science Records.
And after recording the three numbers, Paul Schroeder, who produced the Stone Roses' Second Coming album was on hand mix and finish the tracks.
Peter said: "It was just amazing watching the way he worked and how he pulled everything together."
Blending a diverse range of musical styles from funk, rock, hip-hop and blues into a dynamic sound all of their own, the lads are hoping the EP will be out by the summer.
Dustfly play The Works (next to FJ Nichols) tonight, with admission to the gig free of charge.
