BLACKBURN Hawks are set for a stern test of their abilities this weekend as they face Milton Keynes Thunder in a back-to-back challenge encounter.
The Buckinghamshire outfit currently lie third in the ENHL South, while their first string 'Lightning' lead the way in the Premier League.
"We're looking forward to two very competitive games," said Hawks coach and top scorer Bobby Haig. "I think both matches will be close affairs as ourselves and Thunder are similarly placed in our respective leagues."
Wes Barnett returns from suspension for the home clash on Saturday as the Hawks field a full squad, however the following day's away trip will see them without all their under 19 players.
On Saturday the Arena doors open at 5.15pm in time for a 6pm face-off, while on Sunday the coach to Milton Keynes leaves at 12.30pm.
