DEAN Grice believes Colne may have a Gary Lineker in the making.
George Craddock celebrated his 21st birthday with two goals in the Reds' 2-1 win at Blackpool Mechanics last weekend.
And manager Grice heaped praise on his star striker.
"He's a super player. He is more like a Gary Lineker type striker because he doesn't hold things up or do a great deal on the ball, but he is always in the right areas and making the right runs all the time," said Grice, who believes Craddock is complimented well by loan signing Denny Khan.
"Denny was the one who held the ball up for us on Saturday and he had an excellent debut.
"We've always had two young, quick players up front in the past and we've tended to try to slip things through gaps for them, or high over the top for them to run on to.
"But Denny can play balls to feet and get good support from midfield."
And Grice reckons that will stand them in good stead for a tough game tomorrow.
"Stone are going very well at the moment and have a few games in hand which they'll be looking to win to get promotion," he said.
"But we could do one or two local clubs a favour tomorrow, even if it's only by picking up a point.
"Confidence is starting to come back to the side after our blip of three consecutive defeats."
Colne expect to welcome back Gavin Richards after he missed last week's game with a knee injury.
