A WEEK after his mum jetted off to Spain for some winter sun, Graham Paul Cooper took her car to run his girlfriend's brother into town, a court was told.
Blackburn magistrates heard that the favour back-fired when the provisional licence holder collided with another car.
Cooper, 25, of Hazel Close, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to aggravated taking without consent, failing to stop after an accident, driving while without insurance and other than in accordance with a licence. The case was adjourned for the preparation of pre-sentence reports and Cooper was remanded on bail until March 14.
