PISTOL shooting, guided missile launching and artificial resuscitation were among the activities on offer at a careers afternoon at Brookhouse Access Point in Whalley Range, Blackburn.
Teenagers were given the chance to sample life as a soldier with the 12th Regiment of the Royal Artillery, under the watchful eye of gunner Jason Ireland and private Jim Nicholson.
Work as an ambulance technician was also demonstrated by Anisa Shaikh of the ambulance accident and emergency control team.
