AN APPEAL for witnesses has been issued on behalf of the man accused of murdering asylum seeker Mokhliss Mostafa in Blackburn.
Mokhliss died following an incident in Infirmary Street on Sunday January 19.
Solicitors acting for Farhan Hamad, 20, who has been charged with murder, have appealed for anyone in the Bolton Road, Infirmary Street or Mosley Street area bertween 11.45pm on Sunday and 12.15am on Monday to contact them at 1-2 Richmond Terrace, Blackburn, or on 01254 606060.
Solicitor Paul Schofield said: "I am particularly interested to speak to anyone who may have seen one or two males running in that area at that time."
