The silly season is months away but you could be forgiven for thinking it's already arrived.
They were expecting big things of this pairing of Kareena and Fardeen and maybe they were expecting far too much..
The story is pretty simple and sees Kareena (Khushi) and Fardeen (Karan) end up in the same college together despite being destined to lead their lives in different directions.
Karan you see comes the bright lights and big city of Calcutta and was looking to study abroad. And Khushi hails from a small village in the middle of nowhere where she had to really put up a fight to go to college in the first place.
No it's not love at first sight and both find time to get to know one another for a change before exchanging vows.
They do this by attemting to bring two of their friends together...during which there is a lot of humour and the usual family objections.
They slowly but surely end up falling for one another but don't want to admit it to themselves. Call it an ego problem or just plain stubborness.
It's only when the time comes to actually go their separate ways do our happy go lucky love birds feel a longing in their hearts.
It's a good effort in the mode of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and comes with a pretty catchy soundtrack.
On the down side it does drag for a while and by the the end of the movie your just urging them to get together...and get it over.
