A RISHTON publican was given a special award for a decade's worth of good service to his customers' taste buds.
Alan Taylorson, of the Rishton Arms, Station Road, was presented with a plaque to commemorate ten years in the CAMRA National Good Beer Guide.
He was awarded the honour by the East Lancashire branch of the Campaign for Real Ale at a packed ceremony in the pub, cheered on by his loyal, real ale-drinking customers.
The award formed part of CAMRA's first ever National Pub Week, a campaign to remind people to support their local pub.
