JOHN Williams was pleading with the blue side of East Lancashire to attend more games in greater numbers in his new 'View from the Top' column (LET February 27).
Personally, I feel sorry for the people who are working extremely hard within the club trying to give Lancashire a Premiership team to be proud of.
Unfortunately, two major domestic successes in the last seven years doesn't seem to mean much to thousands of so-called supporters who continue to stay away and support the club from their armchairs.
Start backing your club with the passion and backing it deserves or accept Rovers will soon have to sell their player assets - and second-rate football will once again return to Ewood on a permanent basis.
