ACCRINGTON Stanley's lead at the top of the UniBond Premier Division has been cut to 12 points following Barrow's win over Altrincham last night.
The Bluebirds moved into second spot courtesy of a crushing 4-0 victory over the Robins at Holker Street.
Stalybridge Celtic, who were in second before last night, could only muster a 1-1 draw at Gainsborough Trinity which leaves them a whopping 13 points behind Stanley and the Reds now have a game in hand.
Meanwhile, Vauxhall Motors, who could cut Stanley's lead to nine points if they win their two games in hand, are in action at bottom-of-the-table Hyde United tonight.
