A THEATRE company will tackle the issues surrounding asylum in Darwen this month.
The Talia Theatre company, which co-ordinates projects designed to tackle social problems in Blackburn and Darwen communities, is one of the few companies in Europe to specialise in biomechanics The actors are trained in a special form of movement, designed by Russian theatre visionary Meyerhold.
The group have been collaborating with Russian director and biomechanics expert Gennadi Bogdanov, who co-directs 7 Assilion Place, which will be performed at the Darwen Library Theatre on Friday, March 28 at 7.30pm.
Julia Rounthwaite, Talia's marketing manager, said: "The play is written by Nathan Osgoodfilm.
"It's about three strangers who are forced to live together and it explores the notion of sharing the place in which we live."
