A MAN and a woman pleaded not guilty today to killing a 10-year-old girl thought to be Britain's youngest Ecstasy victim.
Jade Slack died in hospital in Lancaster, Lancashire, in July last year after falling ill at a house in Galgate near her home.
Rebecca Hodgson, 20, of Jackson Close, Lancaster, and Wayne Wood, 21, of Highland Brow, Galgate, both denied the manslaughter of Jade.
The pair also pleaded not guilty to child cruelty at the plea and direction hearing at Preston Crown Court.
They were granted unconditional bail and a trial date was set for September 8 at Manchester Crown Court.
