GARRY Flitcroft has been impressed by David Dunn's recent return to form and fitness.
Dunn has endured a difficult couple of months in which he has come in for criticism from manager Graeme Souness.
But the England midfielder has responded with two winning goals in his last two games.
"It's great for Dunny that he's back in the side and scoring goals again," said Flitcroft.
"I know a lot has been made about him and the manager not talking recently but to be honest it's been blown out of proportion."
Rovers have decided against risking Damien Duff in tonight's reserve game at Aston Villa.
