POLICE have released six men they had arrested in connection with a £2m armed robbery at a Royal Mail sorting office in Preston.
Police said on Friday that five of the six men questioned over the raid were released on bail, and one was released without bail conditions.
More than 100 officers from Greater Manchester and Lancashire Police were involved in the operation to arrest the men on Thursday.
About £2m in used banknotes was stolen from the depot at Fulwood on 14 February.
The arrests were made at addresses across Manchester.
Police are still appealing for witnesses to the robbery - or anyone who has information about it - to contact them.
