SHRIMPS boss Jimmy Harvey is confident his team can clinch a place in the end of season play-offs following the demolition of Northwich Victoria on Saturday.
The match saw Morecambe rise temporarily to the heady heights of fourth place in the Conference table.
And even though Dagenham and Redbridge's midweek win over Stevenage did not do Jim Harvey's team any favours, top-of-the-table Yeovil's victory away at Halifax has left the Shrimps still occupying the final play-off birth ahead of Hereford and Halifax on goal difference with 55 points.
Harvey says his team will now have to take one game at a time in the all-important run-in to the end of the season.
But he is more than happy that the team is ready to meet the challenge that lies ahead.
On Saturday Morecambe will travel down to the Bucks Head Stadium to take on Telford, who they beat 1-0 at Christie Park back in September.
